Kalinga Hotel ,Rohtak

We get asked a lot why Kalinga Hotel, Rohtak has an address that says Paschim Vihar in New Delhi. It’s just how the paperwork ended up. We are located at A-1, 94 in that part of West Delhi. Managing things from here can be a bit of a back-and-forth situation. Paschim Vihar is quite crowded and there’s always someone honking outside. It’s a very different vibe than Rohtak. We spend a lot of time on the phone or traveling between the two places. The hotel business is never really quiet. Even when we are sitting in Delhi at A-1, 94, our minds are usually on the rooms and the guests back in Rohtak. It’s a bit of a strange way to run things, but it’s our way. The Delhi address is where we handle the mail and the serious stuff. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters with a lot of staff. It’s just us trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes the commute is a nightmare because of the traffic on the highway. You never know how long it will take to get from Paschim Vihar out to where the action is. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The name Kalinga means something to us, even if the address seems a bit confusing to people who look us up for the first time. We just tell them to look for the Delhi sign and they usually find the office.
