I run my business out of Matanhail village. If you ask anyone where the old State Bank of India building is, they can point you right to my spot. I’ve lived in this village and post area for as long as I can remember. It’s a quiet place, but we keep busy enough with the local trade. I don't really have a big staff or a multi-story office. It’s just me and a couple of guys from the area helping out with whatever needs doing that day. Being near the old bank makes it easy for people to find us when they come from the surrounding fields. We handle a lot of different local needs, mostly dealing with the folks in the agricultural community. I don't go in for all that marketing talk you see in the big cities nowadays. I just talk to people face to face and we figure things out. My desk is usually a bit of a mess with old receipts, pens, and tea cups. That's just how it goes when you're busy doing real work. The village life suits me well because everyone knows your name and you don't have to explain things twice. Some days I spend more time chatting with neighbors than actually working, but that’s the way it is in a small place like this. We don’t have any fancy machines or computers, just a simple setup that has worked for us for years.
