The office here at 330 Vinaynagar is right by the Delhi Bypass Road in Rohtak. It’s a loud spot because of all the trucks and cars zooming past toward Delhi, but you get used to the noise after a few days. Haribhoomi Publication Ltd is where all the printing and distribution logistics happen. It’s a big space because we need room for the machines and the piles of paper that come in every week. There is a constant hum of equipment, and it gets quite warm in the summer months. Most of us here have ink on our hands by the end of the shift. We aren't sitting in nice air-conditioned cubicles; it’s more of a practical workspace where things actually get made. We spend a lot of time checking proofs and making sure the delivery trucks are loaded up on schedule. If a machine breaks down, it’s all hands on deck to fix it because the news doesn't wait for anyone. The bypass road makes it easy for the trucks to get out, which is why we're out here instead of in the middle of town. We eat our meals in a small break area and talk about whatever is on the radio. It’s a straightforward job. We show up, we get the publications out, and we go home. It’s not fancy, but the work is steady and there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the final product stacked up.
