I run a small company out of my place at 1167 A in Ramnagar, specifically in the Jagdish Colony part of Rohtak. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, though there are more small businesses popping up lately. I’ve lived in Haryana my whole life, so setting up here felt like the right thing to do. The office is really just a part of the building where I keep my supplies and do my paperwork. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but that keeps it a bit quieter. I don't have a big staff, just a couple of people who help me out when things get busy. We mostly deal with local orders and people we have known for years. My name is Dinesh Kumar and I started this because I wanted something of my own close to home. The walls are painted a simple white and I have a few old wooden chairs for when people come to visit. I spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the ledger to see what needs to be done next. It’s not a fancy setup, but it gets the job done without any fuss. I like being able to walk to work and seeing the same faces in the colony every day. It feels like being part of a real community rather than just running a business. We just do our work.
