Sulkha Agro Farmer Producer Companylimited is right here in our village of Sulkha. If you’re ever in the Bawal Tehsil of the Rewari district, you can find us at House Number 226/3. We are a group of farmers who decided it was finally time to take things into our own hands. In our village, almost everyone is connected to the land in one way or another. We’ve lived here all our lives and our families have been here for generations before us. Dealing with the crops and the fluctuating markets can be a real headache, so we formed this company to help each other out. It is mostly just us sitting in the village talking about the weather and the prices we are seeing at the mandi. We don't have a big fancy office or a website or anything like that yet. We just use this small office space in the house. It’s a lot of manual work and checking the stores in the heat. Rewari is a tough place for farming sometimes because of the water issues, so we have to be smart about what we grow. Being a producer company lets us buy things like fertilizer and seeds in bulk which saves everyone a bit of money. We aren't looking to become millionaires, just want to make sure the folks in Sulkha get a fair shake. It’s basic, honest work. We know every inch of these fields and we try to do our best.
