Dawana Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located at house number 18 in village Dawana. It is a quiet spot in Rewari tehsil. Most of us here have been farming for a long time. My neighbors and I decided to start Dawana Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited because it seemed like a good way to handle things together. It is not a fancy office or anything. We just sit around and figure out what we need for the next season. Some days are slow and we just talk about the rain or the lack of it. It takes a lot of time to get the paperwork right for the company. We are not experts at the business side of things, but we are learning as we go. The village is small so everyone knows where we are. If you come by, you might see us near the fields or just at the house. We don't have a big sign or a lobby. It's just a room with some chairs and a desk where we keep the records. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait to use the computer. It is just how it is out here. We try to help the other farmers in Dawana get better prices for what they grow. It is hard work and the sun gets really hot in the summer months. But we keep at it because this is our home and our livelihood.
