G. V. Stones

We've been at this spot on Behror Road for a while now. If you're coming from the railway crossing in Kund, you'll see us right there. It’s mostly just us working with different kinds of stones every day. People stop by when they are building something or fixing up a yard. We keep a lot of stock out front so it is easy to look at what we have. Some days are busier than others, especially when the trucks arrive with new loads. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a yard where we get things done. We've seen the area change over the years, but we stay pretty much the same. Most people know us because they drive past the tracks every day to get to work. We try to keep things organized but with heavy stones, it's always a bit of a mess. That's just how it goes in this trade. If someone needs a specific size or type, we go out and find it in the piles. It is hard work, lifting and moving things around under the sun. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. We'd rather be out there with the materials. It is a basic setup, but it works for us and the folks around here who need stone for their projects. We just take it day by day and hope for good weather.
