Balwan Stone

Balwan Stone is located in Majra Village. We are under the Kund Post Office in the Rewari taluk. It is a rural area, so things move a bit slower here than they do in the big cities. Our place is very close to the New Dharamshala, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. Working with stone is what we do every day. It is heavy, dusty work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We have a lot of different stones sitting out in the yard. The village of Majra is a quiet place for the most part, except for when the trucks come in to load or unload. We spend a lot of time outside in the sun. It gets very hot in Rewari during the summer months, which makes the work even harder. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just a small shed where we keep our tools and a few chairs for when people come to talk about prices. My family has been around the Kund area for a long time. We know the roads and the people. Most of our day is just moving pieces of stone and making sure they are ready for whoever needs them. It is physical work and our hands are always rough from the grit. We just stay here near the dharamshala and keep doing what we know how to do best.
