Itauraagro Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Rath. You can find us through Ram Singh in Aunta. We are just a local group of farmers who decided to put our heads together. Rath is a place where farming is the main thing people do, so it made sense for us to start something like this. We don't have a fancy office building. Most of our business happens right there in Aunta at Ram Singh’s place. We are out in the sun most of the time, checking on the crops and making sure the soil is ready. It’s not an easy life, but it’s the one we chose. We started this producer company because we wanted to have more control over how we sell our stuff. When you work alone, it’s easy to get pushed around. Together, we feel a bit more solid. We don’t have a lot of rules or corporate policies. We just talk to each other and decide what needs to be done for the next season. The rain doesn't always come when we want it to, and sometimes the prices aren't great, but we keep going. Ram Singh handles the paperwork while we focus on the farming part. It’s a very practical arrangement. We are just simple people from Rath trying to make sure our farms stay productive and our families are taken care of. That is really the whole story of our little company.
