Ganesh Metal Industries

Ganesh Metal Industries is out here in Tallapally Village, specifically at Survey No.279, Plot No.6-60/A/D/C. It is a bit of a drive to get out to this part of Nagarguda in the Shabad Mandal area of R.R. District, but that is just how it is with industrial work. The shed where we do most of the metalwork is big and gets incredibly hot during the summer months. You can hear the sounds of machines and metal hitting metal from all the way down the road. We spend a lot of time just moving heavy pieces around and making sure the machines are running like they are supposed to. It is a dusty environment and our clothes are usually covered in grime by the time noon rolls around. We do not have any fancy offices or air conditioning, just a basic space where the work happens. The village is relatively quiet compared to the city, except for our shop, I suppose. Most of the guys who work here live nearby and we have all become pretty used to the long hours and the physical nature of what we do. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to just sit around and wait for it to come back on before we can finish the day's orders. It is hard work but it is what we know, and we just keep at it every day in this corner of the district.
