Nikhil Steel Traders

Nikhil Steel Traders is based out in Tukkuguda at Sy. No. 14-2. We are situated right opposite Devendra Vidyalay, so we see the school kids and parents coming and going every morning and afternoon. Being in the R.R. District, we are a bit outside the main city hustle, which gives us a bit more breathing room, but it’s still a busy spot. Our yard is where we spend most of our time, surrounded by stacks of steel and the equipment we use to move it. It’s a simple operation—we get the material in, we sort it out, and we wait for the trucks to come pick it up. The office is just a small room where we keep our ledgers and take a break from the sun when we can. Tukkuguda can get very hot, so we usually try to get the heavy loading done early before it gets unbearable in the afternoon. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us who know the business and how to handle the metal safely. It’s a very practical kind of life, focused on the weight and type of steel we have in stock. We don't bother with fancy slogans or big signs. If you look across from the school, you’ll see our place with the steel piled up, and that’s pretty much all there is to it. It’s honest work and we stay busy with it.
