We set things up here at Kisan Jagran Agro Producer Company Limited because we saw a need in our local area around Mahadevpurhayat Nagar. Most of us have been working the soil for a long time now. It’s not easy work and it takes a lot out of you. We handle the business side of things from Ajit Kumar’s place. The weather doesn't always go our way, so we just try to help each other out with seeds and getting crops to the right places when the time comes. It started small. Just a few of us talking about how to make farming pay the bills better than it used to. We don't have a big office or anything fancy to show off. It’s mostly just sitting down and figuring out who needs what for the next season. The roads around here can be tough when the rain hits, but we manage to get the trucks moving eventually. People know where to find us. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just making sure the families around here have a steady way to sell what they grow. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just how it goes these days. We keep our tools ready and our eyes on the fields. If you walk past the house in Mahadevpurhayat Nagar, you’ll probably see us sorting through bags or checking some ledgers. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise till the light fades out.
