Wow World Womens Beauty

Working out here in Mesra is a bit different because it’s further away from the main Ranchi city. My shop, Wow World Womens Beauty, is close to the BIT campus. Because of that, I see a lot of students. They are always in a rush or talking about their exams. The parlour is just a simple room with the things I need. I have a few mirrors and some shelves for the shampoos and lotions. It’s usually quiet in the mornings, but once the classes are over, the girls start coming in. We talk about their studies and where they are from. Some of them come from very far away to study here. I also have customers who live in the village nearby. They usually want very simple things like a hair trim or some thread work. I try to keep the prices low because I know students don't have much money. The BIT area has a lot of trees, so it stays a bit cooler here than in the city. I like to sit outside the door when I don’t have any customers. The shop isn't big, but it’s enough for me. I’ve been here for a couple of years now and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the university calendar. When the students go home for holidays, the shop gets very quiet and I spend my time cleaning everything. It’s a good place to work.
