aesthetics boutique & beauty salon

If you look for us, we are on the first floor of the Gopal Complex. It’s right on Kutchery Road here in Ranchi. It’s a loud area with all the lawyers and people going to court nearby. We have two sides to the business. One side is the boutique where we do the tailoring and keep the fabrics, and the other side is the beauty salon with the chairs and mirrors. It gets really busy on weekends, especially when there's a wedding coming up in town. The sewing machines make a constant humming sound in the background while people are getting their hair done. I started this place because I liked clothes, but then added the salon part later. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow and sometimes the hallway gets cluttered with boxes. We use a lot of thread and ribbons. The floor is usually covered in little bits of fabric or hair that we have to sweep up every hour. It’s not a fancy spa, just a place where local ladies come to get things fixed or to look a bit nicer for an event. We have a small fan that blows the air around because it gets stuffy with the iron running. People wait on the bench and talk about their day. It’s a friendly place, even if it’s a bit messy sometimes with all the work going on.
