It has been quite a while since we first opened up here in Ranchi. Most people around the neighborhood just know us as Sunny Hair Cutting Saloon. We are located right on the Main Road in Hatia, so it is easy to spot us when you are passing through. The shop is a simple place with a few chairs and the usual tools. We do not have any fancy decorations or big bright signs. It is mostly just neighbors from Hatia coming in for a quick trim or a shave before they head off to work in the morning. I have been working at this spot for many years now and I recognize most of the faces that walk through the door. Ranchi has definitely changed a lot over the years, but our little corner on Main Road stays pretty much the same. We have the standard mirrors and chairs that have seen a lot of use. If you are looking for a place that is modern and polished, this might not be it. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of all the traffic outside, but we keep the floor swept and the scissors sharp. We handle kids who are scared of the clippers and old men who just want their usual cut. There is no big story or philosophy here. People just need their hair cut, and we do it for them.
