Being situated near CMPDI on Kanke Road means we get to see a lot of what’s happening in this part of Ranchi. We handle the lights, the tents, and the food for all kinds of gatherings, which really keeps us on our toes most days. It’s usually a bit of a scramble to get the generators running and the fairy lights hung up in the trees before it gets dark. We have a lot of gear stored in our space, and it seems like we’re always fixing a broken bulb or washing a pile of tablecloths. The crew here is small but we’ve worked together for so long that we don't really need to say much to get the job done properly. We’re not the type of business to have a polished sales pitch or a fancy office for meetings. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and actually do it. Sometimes the food is a bit spicy for some people, and sometimes the weather makes the tent work very difficult, but we always stay until the end of the night. We’ve seen this part of Kanke Road change quite a bit over the years as more buildings go up, but our work stays pretty much the same. People still need a place to sit and something good to eat when they get together with family. We’re just happy to be the ones they call when they need a hand with their lights and their lunch.
