My place is over in Anantpur, right near the over bridge. It’s a well-known spot in this part of Ranchi. The area is quite lively and there’s always something happening near the bridge. I’ve been based here for a good amount of time now. It’s not a grand office or anything. It’s more of a personal workspace where I can focus on my tasks. The sounds of the traffic from the over bridge are something you just get used to after a while. It becomes like background music. The room is simple, with just the essentials—a desk, some chairs, and my equipment. I don’t like having a lot of clutter if I can help it, though it does pile up sometimes. People usually drop by if they’re in the neighborhood. It’s easy to give directions because everyone knows where the over bridge is. The building itself is older and has that local Ranchi feel to it. It’s not polished or modern, but it works for me. I like being part of the Anantpur community. You see the same faces every day at the tea stall or the small shops nearby. It feels very connected to the city. I do my work, see my visitors, and that’s about it. No fuss, just a regular day in a regular part of town. It’s a comfortable routine and the location is perfect for someone who likes to be near the movement of the city.
