My name is Kunal Kumar Gupta and I run things here at East Market Road in Upper Bazar. It’s usually pretty crowded outside Prabhat Hardware Store where we are located. Most people know the spot because it’s a busy part of Ranchi. Between Sri Sai Enterprises, S.R. Industries, and our finance company, there is always something going on. One minute I am looking at industrial parts and the next I am dealing with paperwork for the Shree Shyam Finance side of things. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. We just work out of the space we have here. Jharkhand-834001 is where I’ve spent most of my time. It’s dusty and loud with all the trucks and people moving hardware around, but that is just how business is done in this part of town. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming managing three different names under one roof, but we manage to keep track of it all. If you come looking for us, just find the hardware store and you’ll see our setup. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that, just me and a few others trying to keep things moving. Most of our day is spent talking to locals and getting through the pile of work on the desk. It’s a simple life and we like being part of the Upper Bazar community because it is where the real work happens every day.
