Pran Salon

Pran Salon has been sitting here in Gosai Toli for quite some time now. Most people in Chutia know where we are, just a simple spot for a haircut or a quick shave. It’s not one of those fancy places you see in the big malls. We just have our chairs, some basic tools, and a radio that’s usually playing something in the background. My hands are busy from morning till evening, especially on weekends when everyone has a day off. Ranchi gets pretty hot, so the fan is always running full speed. Regulars come in, sit down, and they don't even have to tell me what they want anymore. We talk about the local matches or how the prices of things are going up lately. It’s a small space, so sometimes you might have to wait on the bench outside if it's busy. I try to keep things clean, but hair gets everywhere when it’s a full house. It’s just how it is. People like coming here because they know what to expect. No loud music or bright lights that hurt your eyes. Just a normal haircut and maybe some water on your face after a shave. We’ve seen kids grow up and start bringing their own sons here. That’s how life goes in this part of town. If you’re passing through Chutia and need to tidy up, you can find us easily.
