Prakash Hair Cutting Saloon

The shop is right on the Main Road in Bero. We see everyone passing by Mahabeer Chawk from our front door. Prakash Hair Cutting Saloon is just a small room with two big mirrors and a few stools. Sometimes it gets quite dusty because of the traffic outside, so we are always wiping things down. It is not a place with air conditioning or anything like that. We have a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day long. Usually, the morning is quiet, and then men start showing up after they finish work in the fields or the local shops. We have the usual stuff like combs, clips, and those old-fashioned razors. I keep the water in a plastic mug for wetting the hair. People talk about the weather or the crop prices while they wait their turn. It’s a local spot where everyone knows everyone else. If you are looking for Mahabeer Chawk, we are easy to find. The walls are painted a light blue, but they’ve faded a bit over the years. We don't really do anything fancy, just standard haircuts and shaves. Sometimes a kid comes in and cries because he's scared of the scissors, so we have to be patient. It’s just how it is here in Bero. We stay open late if there's a wedding or a festival happening nearby. Life is simple at the saloon. We have a wooden bench outside for people to enjoy the breeze when the shop is full.
