Pawan Hair Cutting Parlour

This is Pawan Hair Cutting Parlour. You can find us at Konki Chowk in the Kanke area of Ranchi. Pithoriya is just nearby too. It is a small shop, nothing too fancy. I have been cutting hair here for quite some time now. Most of the men from around the chowk come here for their monthly trim or a quick shave. The address is 834006 if you are looking for it on a map. We have a couple of chairs that have seen better days but they work just fine. There is usually a bit of dust because of the road outside, but we try to keep the inside clean. I usually have a helper with me. We start early in the morning because that is when the office-goers come. The scissors need sharpening every now and then. We have a small TV in the corner but usually, people just talk about the weather or local news while waiting. It’s a basic place for a basic haircut. No air conditioning here, just a ceiling fan that makes a bit of noise. Sometimes the power goes out in Ranchi, then we just open the door wide for light. We use standard soaps and creams. People know us by name around here. It’s a quiet life at Konki Chowk most of the time. We just do our work and go home. That’s about all there is to tell about our daily routine here at the parlour.
