House 138 is our base. It's on the Village at Station Road in Gola. Ramgarh is a place where everyone knows everyone. It’s not like the big cities where you don't even know your neighbor's name. We’re tucked away in the village area. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but we don't mind the exercise. The air is better out here compared to the main road. We started this because we wanted to work near home and avoid the long commutes to the city. Hazaribagh isn't too far away, but Gola is where we stay and work every single day. We have a couple of rooms set up for the work we do. There's no corporate lobby or fancy reception desk here. Just a plain door and some windows looking out at the road. You can hear the trains passing by sometimes. It’s a rhythmic sound that you get used to after about a week. We drink a lot of chai during the day to keep us going. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or use the backup if the task is important. It’s just how things are in this part of Jharkhand. We don’t have fancy titles or big private offices. Everyone just helps out with whatever needs to be done at the moment. It’s practical. Our desks are old wooden ones that we've had for years. They do the job just fine. We don’t see many strangers around here.
