Nitin Kumar

My name is Nitin Kumar and I am currently based out of Hostel 5D. Specifically, I am in Room No-363 here at the Birla Institute Of Technology in Mesra, Ranchi. Being in a hostel means space is a bit tight, but this is where everything happens for me right now. The campus is quite large and it takes some time to walk from the hostel to the main departments. I usually spend most of my day between the room and the labs. It is a quiet enough spot for working, though during the evenings the corridors can get a bit noisy with other students around. Ranchi weather is mostly fine, though it gets quite cold in the winters. I have my desk set up in the corner of the room with all my papers and books piled up. It is not a professional office or anything like that. It is just a student room where I manage my daily activities and projects. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we manage. Mesra is a bit far from the main Ranchi city, so we stay on campus most of the week. There is a lot of green around the hostel which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. This is just a simple setup for now while I am finishing things here at BIT. It works for what I need to do every day and keeps me close to where I need to be for my studies.
