Nirmal Deepa Beauty Parlour

This is a small beauty parlour located right in the heart of Ranchi City. We have been operating here for a long time. It’s a very simple place with just the basic equipment. We don't have any of those expensive machines you see on TV. We do things the old-fashioned way. Threading is our most common job. A lot of young girls from the colleges nearby come here for a quick trim or to get their nails done. The shop is a bit small, so if there are more than three people, it feels crowded. We have a small curtain for privacy when doing waxing. The walls have some old posters of hairstyles from years ago. We don't really change them because they feel familiar. The lighting is just a couple of tube lights, but it gets the job done. Sometimes we run out of water if the tank isn't filled on time, but that doesn't happen often. We keep a register for all the work we do. It’s a bit of a messy book with ink stains. We don't use fancy English here, just talk in the local way. It’s a practical shop for people who want to save some money and get their grooming done. We are just normal people working hard every day to keep the business going. Sometimes the street noise is a lot, but we are used to it by now and it doesn't bother us.
