Mithila Hair Cutting Salon

My shop, Mithila Hair Cutting Salon, is sitting right on the Main Road near the Birsa Chowk area. It is a very busy spot in Ranchi, so there is always a lot of activity right outside the door. I have been cutting hair in this location for many years. It is a small place and there is nothing very special to look at from the street, but I have a loyal group of regulars. Most of the men come in for a quick trim or a shave before they head off to their jobs in the morning. I do not do anything too complicated or trendy. If you want a standard, clean cut, I can do that for you. I make sure my tools are clean and I wipe the mirrors down every day. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just keep working with the natural light from the door. That is just how life is here. I like being near Birsa Chowk because you get to see everyone passing by. Students, office workers, and the older men from the colony all come through. I end up listening to a lot of stories while I work. Everyone has something to say about the city or the local politics. I keep the prices low because I know people work very hard. It is just me and my chair here, no big team. It is an honest local business.
