Micro System & Services

Micro System & Services is situated at Birsa Chowk. We are quite close to the railway bridge. You can hear the trains passing by all day long. The vibration sometimes rattles the windows a little bit, but after a while, you stop noticing it altogether. It’s a bit of a landmark area, so people find us easily enough. The shop is a bit of a mix of old tools and newer parts. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the back room that we might need one day. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. The floor is concrete and we’ve got some old wooden chairs for when friends drop in. Working near the bridge means there’s always a bit of soot and grit coming in from the open door, so we are constantly cleaning off the equipment. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the work. We take our time with things and don't like to rush if we can help it. The tea from the vendor under the bridge is the best around, so that’s a highlight of the afternoon. It is just a normal shop in a busy part of town, making sure we stay on top of the repairs and services we offer. We’ve been here at the chowk for years, watching the bridge and the traffic change while we stay mostly the same, just doing our daily job.
