Marketing Research & Information Services is located in Ranchi, specifically at Sarda Sadan on Road No-8A. The office is actually part of the house, care of Sri B B Prasad, and it belongs to Prakash Chandra Verma. We are over in the Vikash Nagar area of Hatia. It is a quiet residential neighborhood for the most part, which is good because the research work we do requires a lot of concentration and looking at data. We don't have a big neon sign or a lobby with a receptionist. It is just a regular building where we sit and go through information and records all day. The work is mostly about being careful and making sure the details are correct. Sometimes we have to go out and talk to people, but a lot of the time we are just right here in Hatia working through stacks of papers. It is a very local operation and we like the fact that it isn't some cold, glass-walled office in a high-rise. We have our tea breaks and we talk about the news or the weather just like any other workplace. Being on Latma Road means we are a bit away from the main city chaos, which suits us fine. We have been doing this for years and have a steady routine. We just provide the information services that people need without making a big fuss about it or using any complicated business language. It’s just straightforward work in a quiet part of Ranchi.
