Manisha Tent House

Our business is set up over at Karbala Chowk. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded with traffic and people. We’ve been here for years, providing tents and chairs for all kinds of local gatherings. It’s mostly just a yard full of pipes, canvas, and stacks of plastic chairs. We aren't trying to be anything more than a local tent house. When someone has a function, they come talk to us, and we figure out how many poles and how much cloth they need. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. My team and I spend most of our time out on the road, setting things up and then tearing them down again a few days later. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know us because we've been at this corner for so long. Sometimes the fabric gets a bit dusty or the chairs have a few scratches, but they do the job. We try to be fair with everyone who walks in. The weather can be a real problem sometimes, especially during the rains, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple business, really. We provide the cover, and the people bring the party. That’s how it works here. We don't make a big deal out of it, we just show up and work.
