Life Style Gents Parlour

If you’re around Dangratoli Chowk in Ranchi, you might have seen Life Style Gents Parlour. We are right there in the Gharonda Apartment building. It’s a straightforward gents' shop. I’ve been working here for a long time. The space is okay, enough for a few guys to sit and wait. We do the standard hair cutting and beard trims that men usually want. It’s a busy intersection outside, so there’s always something happening at the chowk. Usually, we get students from the nearby colleges or guys stopping by on their way home from work. I don't use any of those fancy computerized tools. Just my scissors, combs, and a steady hand. The chairs are the old-fashioned heavy ones that are actually quite comfortable once you sit down. I try to keep the place tidy, but with hair flying around all day, it’s a constant job. We have a small TV in the corner that’s usually on a news channel or a match. It’s just a place for a guy to get a haircut without any drama. People know me by name around here. I’m not trying to be a big stylist, just a reliable barber in this part of Ranchi where everyone knows everyone else eventually. The building itself is pretty easy to spot once you get to the crossroads. We stay open until the market starts to wind down at night, usually around eight or so.
