Kum Kum Ladies Beauty Parlour

Kum Kum Ladies Beauty Parlour is situated on Harmu Road in Ranchi. You can find us on the Bypass Road, not too far from the Audi showroom. It is a prominent area and easy to get to by rickshaw or car. The parlour is a place where I spend most of my waking hours. I handle all sorts of beauty work, mostly for the women who live in the nearby colonies. Ranchi has grown a lot, and Harmu Road is always buzzing with activity. Inside the shop, things are more relaxed. I have a few mirrors, some comfortable seating for those waiting, and all my tools laid out. I started this place with just a few things and slowly added more as I could. I don't use any complicated machines; most of what I do is by hand. During the wedding season, the shop is a bit of a mess with sarees and makeup kits everywhere, but that’s the way it goes. I usually have a helper who comes in on the weekends when the rush is too much for one person. We get a lot of sunlight in the mornings, which is nice for doing detail work like threading. I don't have a big marketing plan or anything. I just open the shutters every morning and see who comes in. It is a local shop for local people, and that is exactly how I like it to be.
