Kaveri Restaurant

We've been up here on the first floor of the GEL Church Complex for a long time now. People usually find us when they are out shopping on Main Road and need a place to sit down for a bit. It’s a busy spot, especially on the weekends, but we try to keep things moving. The kitchen stays pretty active from lunch until late evening. Some regular customers have been coming here since we first opened the doors at 9-11. We don’t do anything too fancy, just the food people expect when they walk in. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if you aren’t used to them, but most folks don't mind. We see a lot of families and office workers coming in during their break times. It gets noisy sometimes, but that’s just how it is around here. We just focus on getting the plates out and making sure the tables are wiped down. The staff knows most of the locals by name now. It isn’t a huge place, but there is enough room for most groups. We have seen the Main Road change a lot over the years from our windows up here. Sometimes it's quiet, but usually, it's just the normal rush of the city. We keep the lights on and the food ready for whoever walks up those stairs. It's just a regular day-to-day operation for us and we keep at it.
