Guha Decorators

We are located over on Kalimandir Road in the Doranda area. If you walk down that street, you will probably see our place with all the poles and fabric tucked away. Being a decorator means we spend most of our time out at different venues rather than sitting in the shop. We have a lot of stuff to move around, like the colorful cloths for the ceilings and the lights that have to be strung up just right. It is a lot of climbing ladders and tying knots. Sometimes the wind picks up and we have to go back and fix things, which can be a real pain. We have been in Doranda for a long time so we know the shortcuts to avoid the traffic when we are hauling the materials. Our team is just a few local guys who know how to handle the heavy lifting. We don’t have a big office or anything fancy, just the space for our equipment and a desk where we keep the notebook for bookings. We see a lot of families during their happiest times and also some stressful ones when the wedding planning gets too much. We try to just do our part quietly. We make sure the chairs are lined up and the stage doesn't wobble. It is just steady work that keeps us busy throughout the year, especially when the marriage season starts in Ranchi. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us for their family events for years.
