We are situated in the Market H.E.C Colony in Sector-II. It’s a quiet part of Dhurwa in Ranchi. If you are heading towards the Vidhan Sabha, we are right there nearby. It is a local neighborhood, so we see the same faces almost every single day. The market area has its own charm, though it’s not as shiny as the new malls. We have a small space and we try to make the most of it. There is a lot of prep work that goes into the day. Chopping vegetables, cleaning the counters, and checking the stock takes up most of our morning. We don’t have a massive team, just a few of us who have been together for a bit. The afternoon is usually the busiest time when people from the colony come out for their chores. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage with the backup, which is just part of living in Ranchi. We don’t put on any acts here. It’s just a kitchen and some tables. We like being in this part of town because it’s not too hectic. You can actually hear yourself think most of the time. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the kitchen is running. It's just a regular local spot where we do our best to stay busy and keep the place tidy for the neighbors who visit.
