Cafe Walk Inn

You can find us on the first floor of Manju Complex. We’re right on Kanke Road in Ranchi, sitting just across from the Speaker House. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up the stairs, which some people don't like, but it gives a better view of the road. Kanke Road is always busy with cars and rickshaws going towards the university or the dam. We opened Cafe Walk Inn as a spot where people could just hang out without feeling rushed. It’s not a very large cafe. We have some basic tables and chairs, and we try to keep the music at a level where you can actually talk. A lot of students from nearby hostels come here to finish their assignments or just chat. The kitchen is small, so we stick to stuff we can make quickly. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in Ranchi, but we have a backup to keep the lights on. It’s a bit of an older building, so it has that lived-in feel. We don’t have a big team, just a few guys helping out with the orders and cleaning. We’ve had some people coming here since we first opened our doors. It’s just a regular local place where you can get a decent snack and watch the traffic go by from the window. It is not fancy, but it does the job for anyone needing a break.
