Fish Eye

We’ve got our spot at Hi-253 in the Harmu Housing Colony in Ranchi. It’s pretty easy to find since we’re right near the Harmu substation. Fish Eye has been operating out of this neighborhood for a while. It’s not a huge studio, but it’s got enough room for our equipment and a couple of chairs for visitors. Most of the time, the place is a bit of a mess with cables and camera bags lying around. Ranchi is a nice place to live and work, and the people in Harmu are generally friendly. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and trying to get the lighting just right. It’s not always glamorous work; there’s a lot of waiting around for the right shot or fixing things that break. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just take pictures and videos and hope people like them. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait for the generator, which is just part of the deal here. We aren’t trying to be some world-famous agency. We just like capturing things happening around us. If you drop by, you’ll probably find us mid-edit or cleaning a lens. It’s a quiet life, mostly, punctuated by the busyness of a shoot. We’re just local people doing what we know how to do best with our cameras.
