Birendra Hair Cutting Saloon

Birendra Hair Cutting Saloon is located at Mahabeer Chawk on the Main Road in Bero, Ranchi. This is a family-run business that has been here for a long time. My uncle started it and now I am the one running the daily operations. Bero is a small place, so we see the same faces every week. Our shop is right in the middle of the market area, so it gets very loud and busy on market days. We have a couple of old-fashioned barber chairs that have been repaired a few times over the years. The walls have some old posters on them, and we have a small TV that is usually tuned to the news or a cricket match. People come here not just for a haircut but to catch up on the local gossip. It is a simple place with no air conditioning, just the breeze from the door and a ceiling fan. We try to work fast so people don't have to wait too long, but we never rush the actual cutting. Sometimes children get scared of the clippers, so we have to be extra patient with them. It is a good way to earn a living and stay connected with the community here in Ranchi. We aren't looking to expand or do anything big. We just want to keep the shop going and serve the people of Bero like we always have. It is our home and our work.
