Bharat Salon

We’ve been here on Ranchi Main Road for a good while now. Bharat Salon is tucked away near Chatta Majjid. It’s just a regular spot where people come to get their hair done or a quick shave before work. Nothing fancy. My dad used to talk about how the main road has changed over the years, but we’re still here at 834001. The morning sun hits the front window in a certain way that makes the dust dance. People drop in, we talk about the weather, and they go about their day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with all the traffic near Chatta Majjid, but inside it's just the usual chairs and mirrors. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything. If you know the area, you probably know where we are. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep the place tidy, though the floor gets covered in hair pretty fast. Most of the folks who come in are from around Ranchi Main Road. They’ve been coming for years. It’s not a big corporate chain, just a local shop. We don’t really do appointments much, folks just walk in and wait their turn on the old bench. Sometimes the wait is long, sometimes it's short. That's just how it goes. We use standard stuff. It’s just a place to get a trim or a shave. We open up early and stay till the evening, usually. It’s nothing special, but it’s our life here.
