Amit Mens Beauty Parlour

You can find us at shop number 9 in the S R Complex on Booty Road, right there in Bariatu. We are pretty close to the Masjid, so it’s a landmark most people know. This is a men’s beauty parlour, which mostly means we do a lot of haircuts and beard trims. Amit is usually around to handle things. The complex is a busy place with a lot of different shops, so there is always someone walking by. Inside, we have the typical barber chairs and a few shelves for our combs and sprays. It’s not a fancy lounge, just a place where a guy can sit down for twenty minutes and get sorted out. Booty Road is one of those streets that never seems to stay quiet, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. We get a mix of young students and older men who have been coming to us since we opened. Sometimes the chairs are all full and guys just lean against the wall and talk until it’s their turn. We don't use any high-tech gadgets, just a steady hand and some regular clippers. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but it’s a good trade to have. We just try to keep the place clean and do a decent job every time someone sits in the chair. It’s been our routine for a long time now and we like the people who visit us here.
