Ajoy Chhabra

Ajoy Chhabra is located over at Commerce House on Sarda Babu Street. Our office is up on the third floor, so we get a little bit of a climb every morning unless we wait for the lift. Sarda Babu Street is one of those busy, narrow streets in Ranchi that always seems to have something going on. It’s not far from the main business areas, but it has its own distinct feel. Commerce House itself is an older building that houses several different businesses. We’ve been on the third floor for a while now. The office isn’t huge, but it’s enough for what we do. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people; it’s just a direct, simple setup. The windows look out over the street, and you can see the rooftops of the nearby buildings and the constant movement of people below. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect in this part of town, but it feels real. We usually have a lot of work to get through, so the office stays pretty focused. When things get too quiet, we can always hear the noises from the street to keep us company. It’s a straightforward place to work, and we don't try to make it seem like anything more than it is. It’s just our small corner of Ranchi where we show up and do our job every day.
