Churuwala

Kutchery Road is always noisy, and we are right in the middle of it. If you’ve walked past, you’ve probably seen us busy with something or the other. We go by Churuwala, and we’ve been here long enough that the address is basically our identity now. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy lights. Most of our day is spent handling food and making sure the kitchen is running. It gets very hot in there, especially during the summer months when the sun hits the road. We have a few regular staff who have been here for years. They know exactly how much sugar or salt goes into the big batches without even thinking about it. We aren't the type to talk about missions or visions. We just wake up, get the supplies from the market, and start the work. Some days the traffic on Kutchery Road makes it hard to get deliveries in or out, but we’ve learned to deal with it. It’s a simple life. We see lawyers, clerks, and families passing by all day. Sometimes people stop for a quick chat. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We’re just a local business trying to keep things going. The floors might be a bit worn out and the walls need a new coat of paint, but the work never stops. That's the reality of a place like ours, and we are quite fine with it.
