Aao Sazo Salon

Aao Sazo Salon is situated right on Bariatu Road, near the Booty More intersection in Ranchi. If you know that area, you know how hectic it can get with all the traffic and the noise. Our shop is a little escape from all that. I’ve been working here for a while now. The name basically means to come and get ready, and that’s what people do. We have a few more chairs than some of the other small shops around here, and I try to keep the mirrors shining as much as possible. The lighting is okay, though sometimes a bulb flickers and I have to give it a little tap to keep it going. Being at 834009 means we get a lot of students and office workers who are passing through Bariatu. It’s a diverse crowd that comes through the door. Some want a very short cut, while others just want a quick trim. I don't follow any fancy trends, I just give them exactly what they ask for. The shop has a tiled floor that I have to sweep about twenty times a day. Hair gets everywhere, especially when it’s windy outside. We have a small television in the corner, but mostly it just stays on the news with the sound turned down low. People like to talk and tell stories anyway. It’s a good spot to hear what’s happening in Ranchi. I stay open late most nights because that's when it is busy.
