Srjan Biotechagri is a one-person kind of setup located in Rampur, Raisahab. It’s at Ram Kumar’s place. Being an OPC means things stay pretty small and personal. We focus on biotech and agriculture, which basically means looking at how to make seeds stronger and plants healthier. It’s quiet out here in Rampur, which is good when you need to focus on things like that. The work isn't always exciting; there’s a lot of waiting for things to grow and taking notes on what happened. I don't have a big staff, so I handle most of the stuff myself, from the actual agri-work to the boring parts like taxes and filing papers. The workspace is just a part of the house where I’ve set up some equipment. It’s not a fancy lab you’d see in a movie. It’s just a practical space where I can do my research and talk to local growers. Sometimes people stop by just to see what I’m working on or to ask for advice on their own gardens. I don't charge them for that; it’s just part of being in the neighborhood. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so people know I’m not just some city guy trying to sell them something. I’m just trying to figure out better ways to grow things right here in our own soil.
