We just talk plain English and deal with real-life problems. Some days we are moving bags, other days we are just sitting and waiting for news on prices. Phulapadia handles most of the visitors. We’ve lived in Chandili all our lives, so we know every inch of these fields. It’s hard work, and your hands are never really clean, but it’s good to be working for ourselves. We just take it day by day and hope for a decent crop at the end of the season.
