Tambawati Nagri Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in the Agucha area. We are located at the house of Ram Kunvar, who is the son of Mr. Ladu Jat in Rampura. It’s a very local operation. The name Tambawati Nagri comes from the history of this land, but we are very much focused on the present day. We are a farmer producer company, so it is all about the people who work the land in Rampura and Agucha. We don't have a fancy office building or a corporate lobby. We mostly meet up at Ram Kunvar’s place to talk about what needs to be done. Whether it’s getting better seeds or trying to find a buyer for the crops, we just handle it among ourselves. It is a practical way of doing things. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of experts. We are the experts because we live here and farm here. Agucha is known for many things, but for us, it’s just home. We aren't into that whole 'we believe' or 'our mission' type of talk. We just want to get through the season and make sure everyone is doing okay. It’s a bit rough around the edges, and sometimes it's disorganized, but it’s real. We are just a group of neighbors trying to make the farm business work better for everyone involved. That is about it really.
