Kumbhalgarh Mahila Kisan Agro Producer

This is Kumbhalgarh Mahila Kisan Agro Producer, located in Ward 8 of Kala Bhataora. We are up in the Kumbhalgarh area of Rajsamand. It’s a beautiful part of Rajasthan, but the work we do is tough. This is an organization run by the local women farmers here. We deal with all sorts of agro products that we grow in the fields around Bhataora. Our office is a simple room where we gather to organize our harvests. It’s a way for us to have a bit more control over our work. We aren't experts in business, but we know how to farm. We spend our days between the fields and our meeting spot in Ward 8. It’s a lot of coordinating, making sure everyone knows when the trucks are coming. We don't use any fancy language or have a big corporate strategy. We just want to make sure the food we grow reaches the market. Sometimes it’s hard to balance the farm work with the administrative stuff, but we help each other. The community here is tight-knit, and everyone knows what we are trying to do. It’s about keeping our traditions alive while making a bit of money to support our families. We are just a group of women trying to make things better for our village. Sometimes the internet is slow and we can't get the paperwork done fast, but we manage. We’ve learned everything as we go, from the accounting to the logistics of transport.
