Pritti Electricals & Machinery

Out here in Badarda Raj Nagar, it’s a bit different from the main city rush. Pritti Electricals & Machinery is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s a mix of a shop and a bit of a storage space for all the motors and electrical parts we keep on hand. Most of our neighbors are folks who have been around for years, so everyone knows who we are. The shop floor is usually covered in some kind of mechanical parts or tools we’ve been using. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s a working shop, so that’s expected. We spend a lot of time explaining how a certain pump works or finding a specific wire for someone’s project. It can be a bit slow some afternoons, but then three people show up at once needing help with their machinery. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory. The air usually smells a bit like oil and old metal. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, that usually goes out the window. We like being in Raj Nagar; it’s got a good feel to it. We don't have any fancy signs or a big marketing budget, just the name on the front and our tools inside. It’s just a regular business doing what we can to help people get their equipment running again. It is a long day but we get by.
