Our place is at G-147/148 in the Riico Industrial Area, near the village of Dhoinda. It is a bit out of the way, but that works for us because we need the space for our equipment. We make diamond tools here, specifically for the stone industry that is so big in this part of the country. Dhoinda is a quiet enough place until you get into the industrial zone where we are. The workshop is always humming with the sound of the furnace or the grinding wheels. We have a lot of steel cores stacked up waiting to have the diamond segments attached. It is precise work, but the environment is very rugged. We have a small crew, and everyone wears multiple hats, from operating the machines to helping with the loading of the trucks. The weather can be quite tough, especially when it rains and the roads get muddy, but we keep the production going regardless. We don't have a big corporate structure; the owners are usually right there on the floor checking the quality of the segments. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the upcoming orders and which machines need maintenance. It is an honest living, and we have built a decent reputation around here just by doing the work day after day. There’s nothing flashy about G-147, just a lot of hard work and metal.
