Ashapura Agency

Our place, Ashapura Agency, is located right at Kelwa Chouraha. Being at a crossroads means there is never a quiet moment during the day. We see all kinds of vehicles passing through from early morning until late at night. Our building is a simple one, right on the corner. We spend a lot of our time standing near the entrance, watching the traffic and waiting for deliveries to arrive. We handle various goods and move them around as needed. The floor is mostly concrete and it’s a bit cracked in the corners. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just some sturdy tables and a few chairs for when friends stop by to chat. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the counters. It gets quite busy during the local market days when more people come into the Chouraha. We know the regular truck drivers who pass through this way. Sometimes they stop for a quick glass of water or to ask for directions. We have a small calendar on the wall where we mark everything down. We don't use any high-tech systems here, just a pen and a notebook mostly. It works well enough for us. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop quite hard, so we usually pull down the shades for a couple of hours. It’s just a normal job in a busy spot.
