Rajkot is a big place for machinery, and we are right in the middle of it over at Mavdi Plot. Our building is called Wimco House, and if you are looking for 7 Mavdi Plot, that is us. We have been in this spot for quite some time now, dealing with all sorts of machines and parts. The area is always noisy with the sound of trucks and other workshops nearby, but we have gotten used to it. Inside Western India Machinery Co., things are usually a bit dusty because of the nature of the work. We have a lot of heavy items moving in and out every week. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting things and checking over the equipment to make sure everything is alright. We don't have a big corporate setup. It is more of a hands-on kind of place where you might see someone with grease on their hands most of the time. The weather in Gujarat can be tough, especially in the summer, but the work doesn't stop. We spend a lot of time talking to people who need specific parts for their own shops or factories. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the machinery out the door. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us and our neighbors here in Rajkot. There is always a lot to do, so we just take it one day at a time.
