Our place is tucked away in the Tarang Industrial Area, specifically at Plot Number 50 in Survey Number 61. If you know where Shallibhandra is, we are right behind them, so that’s usually the best way to explain the location to anyone coming over for the first time. The area is full of other shops and factories, so there is always a lot of noise from machines running and trucks loading up goods. We focus on rollforming machineries here, which involves a lot of heavy steel and precise adjustments. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over and over again to make sure everything lines up. The workshop floor is always covered in a bit of dust and metal shavings, but that is just part of the job in an industrial zone like this. We usually have the big doors open to let some air in, especially during the summer months when it gets really stuffy inside. The team here just gets on with it, mostly wearing old overalls and keeping their heads down. We aren't really into big presentations or polished brochures. We just show people what the machines can do and leave it at that. Lunch breaks are usually spent sitting on some crates or heading out to the main road for a quick bite. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the machines after all these years of working.
